Getting to Know Adam Bricker: Exploring His Connection with YBMC in Landisville, PA

Updated: Mar 13

It is with deep sadness that we inform the bearding community about the passing of Adam Bricker Landisville pa, a founding member of the York Beard and Mustache Club.

Anyone who knew Adam understood what an amazing and special person he was. He had an incredible sense of humor matched by his kindness and thoughtfulness. He was always the first to reach out to a friend in need.

He loved his friends, family, and this club deeply. Adam was the heart and soul of the York Beard and Mustache Club. Although his absence cannot be filled, it's important that we recognize and celebrate his contributions to our lives and this club.

Adam attended our very first club meeting in York in 2011. We immediately fell in love with him - his sense of humor, his laughter, his dedication to his friends. For more than a decade, we got to see Adam regularly. Our friendships grew, and we saw him more than just at meetings. We attended beard competitions, went on trips, and just hung out making fun of one another lovingly. Adam's ability to joke around while remaining sweet was a true talent.

Much of the club's progress can be directly credited to Adam's efforts as a founding member and officer, constantly pushing the club to support important causes like mental health and domestic violence awareness. Thanks to his push, we raised thousands for these causes. While his legacy for many is as a friend, he should also be remembered for his work to help others struggling.

Adam was a best friend to many of us. His lovable nature made you fall in love with him. His beautiful soul made you want to help and protect him. We are fortunate to have spent countless hours with him - seeing his joy and sadness. We had a complete friendship knowing his strengths and flaws, and loving him no matter what.

To Adam's family, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for being such an amazing support for him. We are sorry for your loss and here if you need anything.

We will share details of his memorial service once available with permission from his family.

Adam, we love you so much. We will never forget you. Rest in peace.
