On Monday, there was a fatal motorcycle accident on Turner Street/Route 108 in Oxford County, Maine.
The motorcyclist who died was 44-year-old Travis Boivin from Leeds, Maine. Travis boivin leeds ME was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Boivin had slowed down his motorcycle because of a school bus in front of him. However, a 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer sedan driven by 30-year-old Troy Kimball from Mexico, Maine struck Boivin's motorcycle from behind.
The impact threw Boivin off his motorcycle, and he died at the scene of the accident. Kimball, the driver of the car, was not injured.
The crash happened around 5:12 pm on Monday. The road had to be closed for several hours as authorities investigated the accident and examined the scene.
The Oxford County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the fatal crash. They are asking any witnesses to contact them with information.
