Mike sellers redskins was a former professional American football fullback in the NFL. He signed with the Canadian Football League's Edmonton Eskimos at age 19, making him the youngest import player in CFL history.
In high school at North Thurston in Lacey, Washington, Sellers was a standout football, basketball, and track athlete. He was named Washington Prep Player of the Year as a senior.

Wife of former NFL fullback Michael Sellers, known to Washington Redskins fans as "The Caveman." We have 3 kids ages 13, 14 and one young adult. Mike currently coaches running backs at a top Florida high school.
Over the past 6 months, Mike has been in and out of Tampa General Hospital. He was able to help coach his team win another National Championship in 2023. But Mike has a long recovery ahead after undergoing nine heart procedures for his condition. He can no longer provide for our family and needs more treatments to regain health.
Sellers attended Walla Walla Community College where he earned junior college All-American honors as a linebacker.
In the CFL, Sellers moved to fullback and played for the Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. With the Blue Bombers, he teamed with running back Charles Roberts as the duo "Thunder and Lightning."
Sellers later signed as an undrafted NFL free agent with the Washington Redskins and also played for the Cleveland Browns.
The goal of this fundraiser is to support our family's expenses through 2024, including monthly bills and medical costs. As Mike's wife, I have chosen to dedicate myself to nursing him back to health full time. So I will take leave from my job as a teacher's aide.
